Deformative Signal is a collaborative project between intermedia performance artist Angeliki and complexity physicist Vishnoi that merges physical movement, sensor technology, and real-time audio-visual synthesis. Using wearable sensors, Angeliki's body directly controls sound and light as Vishnoi translates her neuromuscular stress, overextended angles, and visceral contortionist limits into complex soundscapes and responsive lighting driven by algorithmic processing. Their work contrasts analytical frameworks with extreme bodily strain to transform physical presence into a poetic, generative medium.
